After exploring kitesurfing destinations around the world from our home base in Switzerland, we finally discovered an ideal spot for all kitesurfing enthusiasts: Hurghada, one of the best locations globally to learn and enjoy kitesurfing. Unlike many other locations, our knee-deep lagoon consistently offers ample water depth for kitesurfing, regardless of the tide conditions.
Just 200 meters beyond the lagoon, you’ll find azure, deep water free of obstacles—a perfect setting not only for kitesurfing but also for Wingfoiling and Kitefoiling. The dedicated take-off and landing zones are conveniently situated right in front of the kite center, ensuring ease and accessibility for all our guests.
Our Kite school is located directly on the beach of SUNRISE Alma Bay Resort Hotel and you can start kitesurfing “from bed to board” literally 10m from the center! Our Kite school has a compressor, a training room, a kitesurfing area, a windsurfing area, separate storage rooms and lockers. There is also a shower and changing room, 4 toilets, a storage, a bar with fresh juices and a large Bedouin tent for chilling out with coffee and shisha.
Hotel guests enjoy all-inclusive service and for external guests we offer bottled water, soft drinks and quick delivery of pizza/burgers/snacks from the neighboring restaurant.

To get into the hotel, all you need to do is present a passport or a copy of your passport at the reception. As our kite school is located on the border between these two Resorts, you can literally walk to the kite school in 2-3 minutes.
